Claimer: My Blog, My POV
Occasionally, I will mention my job (research assistant at DSU), my public service activities (Lake Herman Sanitary District), and other aspects of my life to offer my readers a better perspective on where I'm coming from. It should go without saying, but the SD Board of Regents (Policy 4.21.5) and probably some other queasy types want me to say it anyway:
"The views that I express represent my own opinions, based on my own education and experience, not the opinions of DSU, the Board of Regents, or any other entity, party, or group to which I belong. I give these opinions in my individual capacity, as a private citizen, and as someone who gives a good gosh darn about his community, his country, and the truth."
In other words: my blog, my words, my point of view. No one pays me to write, although dang it, they should! This is good stuff! Enjoy!
