Our 15.4 inch wide screen is a little big at times if you want to use it while riding in a car.

I think this is a novel idea, especially for people that wouldn't be able to have a computer at all if it wasn't for this program. Sure, it would be great to have the Tablet PCS, but a netbook is better than nothing. It's for school work, not video games.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15329279.post-67970732797770784402009-03-23T07:10:00.000-06:002009-03-23T07:10:00.000-06:00Netbooks will be a step down in performance and si...Netbooks will be a step down in performance and size from a standard laptop, but they're also a step down in price. I'd say if you want big gaming power or a really big scren and keyboard, spend the extra money on a big system. But if you're saving money, want something really portable, or don't need huge processing power, netbooks are worth a look.

Check with Rob Honomichl up at MHS about the HP Mini 1240 he's testing out or Gabe Pooler up at Elkton HS about the netbooks his seniors are using.

See also this UK comparison of the top 10 netbooks as of last fall.caheidelbergerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03261598066395322681noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15329279.post-37151879558819061862009-03-22T19:44:00.000-06:002009-03-22T19:44:00.000-06:00I might even look at a netbook when my computer go...I might even look at a netbook when my computer goes kaput... how are they on performance? The purpose of a laptop is portability, access to the internet, and the ability type up papers versus handwriting.

With the current economy as it is, this, I believe, is actually a very smart idea.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
