More Fun! Luce Pioneer Days Expanding

So big one day just isn't enough: Lake Herman State Park is expanding the traditional Luce Pioneer Days celebration from one day to a full three-day weekend of family fun. June 8-10, you can bring your family to the lake for pioneer games for kids, demonstrations of pioneer arts and crafts, pioneer cooking, even a harmonica concert! Wow -- all I need for a nice day at the lake is some time on the bike, in the kayak, or on the porch solving the South Dakota's problems. But if you need a bigger fun-fix than that, mark Luce Days on your calendar, June 8-10, Lake Herman State Park. You have to pay for admission to the park ($5 for a day pass, $23 for a year pass -- and that year pass gets you into any park in the state until next May, the best recreation buy around), but once you're in the park, all the Luce events are free.
