Corsica's Pengitore Declares for Senate

KELO runs an AP report this morning saying that a Corsica man, Joseph Pengitore, has declared his Independent candidacy for the US Senate. Note that in this the Information Age, one declares one's candidacy by setting up a website. Alas, KELO gives no link to the site (and they're all about adding links), but some minor Googling (try "Pengitore Senate") brings up this site:

Click "Index" and surprise! No fancy web design, just 109 (as of my check this morning) pages on a whole array of issues (with a lot more Clip Art). Among the treats within:
No word yet on the response from the Johnson, Kephart, Dykstra, or Tollesfon camps.

Today's mention on KELO may be the last media attention "The Biggest Fool in SD.com" gets. (Once PP gets his blog fixed -- and Madville Times sends sincere sympathy -- maybe he'll contract out some campaign advice on better domain names.) But the Madville Times is happy to indulge in its endless love of the underdog (or is that undermouse?) and remind voters that politics is open to everyone. All it takes is a willingness to study and to speak up... and maybe a little clip art. Go get 'em, little mouse!

  1. Thanks for the tip on our new option, MT. Our new candidate has been busy building web pages!

  2. I know who I'm voting for. If an independent can't win in South Dakota where can one win?

I know the guy personally, and doubtless it would rock Washington to have a guy like him running around.
