Couple Dozen Parents? We're Outnumbered! Call Executive Session!

MDL gives many more details on the Madison Central School Board meeting last night. Give it a read, and submit your comments! Present to discuss their concerns about the Bulldog hacker punishments were a couple dozen parents, and even some kids... now there's some parent participation in democracy! Too bad we never get to have that discussion out in the open, with all the concerned parties.

  1. Parents who spoke and showed support for their kids at the public meeting seemed to have different reasons for being there. Some said breaking into the system was "no big deal" while others didn't like the academic punishment of not getting full credit for classwork and test and others wanted their computers back. I don't think the district is finished investigating or rounding up kids yet. Word among parents is a sophisticated password breaker software was used. It wouldn't be that hard to track who bought the software, would it? After all, how many orders from 57042 could they have?
