Environmental Engineer to Address Lincoln County Dems on Hyperion

SD Watch reminds me of an event of interest coming up in Canton Monday: environmental engineer Karen Hall will come over from Rapid City to talk to anyone interested about the proposed Hyperion refinery. Her presentation is part of the Lincoln County Democrats January meeting, Monday night, Jan 28, 7 p.m., at the Home Federal Bank community room in Canton. Hall has worked as an environmental engineer for Koch Refining (now Flint Hills Resources). Hall has spoken to other groups and to the press about the proposed refinery, urging Union County residents to base their decisions about the refinery on solid science, not fears and rumors. Sounds reasonable to me!
