New Hampshire: Clinton Lead Over Obama Dropping

Real Clear Politics offers a quick and convenient compendium of polls on the presidential race. They don't mention my man Dennis -- obviously another part of the media conspiracy against the one Democrat speaking truth to power (not to mention the smartest Dem in the show). I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for the big Kucinich surge on Tuesday.

But for those of you interested in the horserace side of the race, here's a chart summarizing the data on Clinton's lead over Obama. [Click on the chart for a larger view!]

All four repeated polls show a steady decline in Clinton's edge over Obama. Two polls show Clinton polling double digits below Obama, a bigger gap than separated them in Iowa.

Most of the polls cluster around zero today, showing the closeness of the race... and probably the temperature of the mood in the Clinton war room.

Update 17:20 CST: Real Clear Politics offers an even better chart with their average of all the running polls, tracking since last February. Clinton led all year, peaking just in time for the November election... too bad it was the November 2007 election.
