SD Watch gave us a heads-up from Joe Prostrollo last November that MySiouxFalls.com was not the last we would hear from him. It appears Prostrollo's programmers at DSU/Logic Lizard have set up the framework for Prostrollo's next great South Dakota media venture: SiouxEmpireNews.com.

No content save one headline: "Kerry's Got Obama's Back," bylined to JP himself. Everything else comes up empty, blank template pages subdomained under "logiclizardintra.net", just waiting for the big news. But stay tuned: we may have ourselves another news outlet shortly! As always, the more voices in South Dakota media, the better.

And if Prostrollo knows what's good for Google hits (oh, I suspect he does), he'll add a Weather link straight to Shawn Cable's meteorology page!

Update 20:30 CST: I just changed the question mark to an exclamation point in the headline: Sioux Empire News has content! Joe Prostrollo himself keys a couple of posts, telling about getting back on the horse and giving a short mission statement for this new media venture. Ah, and the weather link is wired up to the trusty old MySiouxFalls.com weather page, which is still churning out forecasts (holy cow! It's supposed to snow tomorrow!).
