Help Dobson Focus on His Family: Vote McCain

Bob directs me to this statement from child psychologist and non-theologian James Dobson:

Should Sen. McCain capture the nomination as many assume, I believe this general election will offer the worst choices for president in my lifetime. I certainly can't vote for Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama based on their virulently anti-family policy positions. If these are the nominees in November, I simply will not cast a ballot for president for the first time in my life.

That clinches it: I am so rooting for McCain... at least until after the convention!

Help Jim Dobson take a break from politics and spend more time at home focusing on his own family. And help America spend more time discussing solid public policy instead of faux-family values: Republicans, vote for John McCain!

(And I'm starting to think: you want to see some good debates in October? How about McCain and Obama sharing a stage?)

(And just as I write that, I hear an Independent caller on NPR's Talk of the Nation refer to the possibility of a McCain-Obama race: "It'll be wonderful to think you're voting for who you like better than who you dislike least.")
