Super Tuesday Ticker from Google!

If this code works, you should see a cool gadget from Google that gives instant updates on Super Tuesday primary and caucus results:

Whoo-hoo! It works! Log on all night for updates!

And if you scroll down the Republican results... double whoo-hoo! Bob Ellis's second-worst nightmare*: Huckabee still in the hunt, winning West Virginia! Hooray for the underdog!

Update 17:05: NPR tells me Huckabees win came from some strategizing on the part of the McCain people. They saw Romney had an edge in the three-way race. They didn't want Romney to get the delegates, so they almost all threw in with the Huckabee folks. They must really not like Romney.

Update 17:06: While you wait for results, amuse yourself with this NY Times article: "Is Obama a Mac and Clinton a PC?" [Noam Cohen, NYT, 2008.02.04] Hmm... are we talking candidate websites or the candidates themselves?

*Bob's first-worst nightmare: me running for office and winning. 8-P

  1. Cory, ANYBODY who wins today is my nightmare! :-)

That's a cool gadget. I think I'll use it too, if I can fit it on the blog somewhere. Thanks for the tip!
