Love the Lakes -- Water Quality Seminar Tuesday

Earth Day is here -- so let's talk water! DSU professor Dale Droge is hosting a seminar on research and conservation efforts taking place in the Lake County watershed. The seminar is Tuesday night, April 22, 7 p.m., at the DSU Science Center, free and open to the public.

Dr. Droge has conducted studies of nutrient loading (like phosphorus and nitrates carried by spring runoff and summer rains) in our lakes. He'll talk about water quality problems in Lakes Herman, Madison, and Brant and answer your questions about what we're doing and what we can do to improve and protect our natural resources.
