I didn't get to hear his speach yesterday, but drove by to check out the crowds. Not too bad of a turnout. His speach lead to a quiet McDs trip with the kids and an empty pool at the Community Center. :-)

Clinton could have easily said "Like a firecracker going off" and had the same meaning. Remember the historical phrase "like a rifle shot across the bow" meaning the front end of a boat? That's what he meant. To the Obama folks, Hillary winning South Dakota big would be like "a slap across the face" of Obama's political machine. What he meant was "those who are following the pied piper would be shocked to lose South Dakota." Obama is running his feel-good campaign just like Reagan ran, lot's of motherhood and apple pie, but not much substance.
