As the Democratic nomination appears to be heading toward a conclusion regardless of the results in South Dakota, it may turn out that the most significant vote taking place today in South Dakota has just wrapped up in Union County. The Sioux City Journal's Dave Dreeszen and Michelle Linck are offering great blog coverage of the vote on rezoning for the proposed Hyperion refinery. Polls are closed; keep an eye out for results soon. Linck reports sizable turnout so far -- 57% in North Sioux City alone.
