Joe Biden: Yeah, he can talk policy. He can also talk heart.
That's real manhood. That's real.
Joe, you've got my respect, and you've got my vote.
The Year in Review, oh, and Merry Christmas!

I used to be against Winter Wonderland at Falls Park but I have to admit,
the pics on my bike this year have been good, so I guess I am okay with the

I like Joe Biden's personality. He conducted himself like a gentleman during the debate with Palin. But I'm worried over allegations that he got some foreign-policy facts wrong.
ReplyDeleteauthentic... puhleeeese. He pulled the EXACT same line complete with false "cry" on June 9th, 1987 when he announced he would run for Pres. in Delaware, and again this past year in an interview with Tim Russert (I believe it was in June?). This is a man who has plagiarized speeches (see "the neil Kinnock affair") and has lied to voters about his education (one degree, not three) and his placement in Law School (75 out of 86, not top half)as well as that nasty little plagiarism deal in law school. He has been offensive towards African Americans("clean and articulate???"), as well as immigrant Indians ("I've had a great relationship. In Delaware, the largest growth in population is Indian-Americans moving from India. You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I'm not joking.")He has a great personality, but he has no ethics.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry but Joe Bidens record speaks for it self when it comes to the american hunter and shooters. Further more I would like to point out on several occassions Biden was Oboma's biggest critic prior t bowing out of the presidental race. What I dont get is how he can be for the war when he voted for it, and then not be for it when running for vice pres. I think Palin had this right you are ether for it or against it but for gods sake stand behind what you vote for.

ReplyDeleteDo you realize that the son whose bedside Joe was by after the car accident was sent to Iraq the very next a.m. following the speech?
As a parent who rushed to the ER for her child and as a sister who was upset, worried, and prayed daily for her brother's safe return from serving in Iraq, I could understand and empathize with Joe Biden very well. You experience loss of a child, fearing from loss of another, sending that child to a dangerous assignment like Iraq and get back to me on your own emotions.
If I were to give or offer a "puhleeeese" moment, it would be the four winks, the "Say it isn't so, Joe", the "aw shucks, I'm such a Washington outsider", "McCain is such a maverick" crapola. The woman is to be hid from the media from straying off McCain's campaign message or actually agreeing with Obama's positions .. and from being the laughing stock she is. She's obviously not prepared to be anything other than a fake front, incapable of truly leading the country. When there is a teleprompter or some serious cramming, does fine in short spurts, but it's insulting that McCain wants us to buy that he really puts country first and pulls outlandish stunts like his VP pick. How stupid does he think we are?
Biden LIES
ReplyDelete1. TAX VOTE: Biden said McCain voted “the exact same way” as Obama to increase taxes on Americans earning just $42,000, but McCain DID NOT VOTE THAT WAY.
2. AHMEDINIJAD MEETING: Joe Biden lied when he said that Barack Obama never said that he would sit down unconditionally with Mahmoud Ahmedinijad of Iran. Barack Obama did say specifically, and Joe Biden attacked him for it.
3. OFFSHORE OIL DRILLING: Biden said, “Drill we must.” But Biden has opposed offshore drilling and even compared offshore drilling to “raping” the Outer Continental Shelf.”
4. TROOP FUNDING: Joe Biden lied when he indicated that John McCain and Barack Obama voted the same way against funding the troops in the field. John McCain opposed a bill that included a timeline, that the President of the United States had already said he would veto regardless of it’s passage.
5. OPPOSING CLEAN COAL: Biden says he’s always been for clean coal, but he just told a voter that he is against clean coal and any new coal plants in America and has a record of voting against clean coal and coal in the U.S. Senate.
6. ALERNATIVE ENERGY VOTES: According to FactCheck.org, Biden is exaggerating and overstating John McCain’s record voting for alternative energy when he says he voted against it 23 times.
7. HEALTH INSURANCE: Biden falsely said McCain will raise taxes on people's health insurance coverage -- they get a tax credit to offset any tax hike. Independent fact checkers have confirmed this attack is false
8. OIL TAXES: Biden falsely said Palin supported a windfall profits tax in Alaska -- she reformed the state tax and revenue system, it's not a windfall profits tax.
9. AFGHANISTAN / GEN. MCKIERNAN COMMENTS: Biden said that top military commander in Iraq said the principles of the surge could not be applied to Afghanistan, but the commander of NATO's International Security Assistance Force Gen. David D. McKiernan said that there were principles of the surge strategy, including working with tribes, that could be applied in Afghanistan.
10. REGULATION: Biden falsely said McCain weakened regulation -- he actually called for more regulation on Fannie and Freddie.
11. IRAQ: When Joe Biden lied when he said that John McCain was “dead wrong on Iraq”, because Joe Biden shared the same vote to authorize the war and differed on the surge strategy where they John McCain has been proven right.
12. TAX INCREASES: Biden said Americans earning less than $250,000 wouldn’t see higher taxes, but the Obama-Biden tax plan would raise taxes on individuals making $200,000 or more.
13. BAILOUT: Biden said the economic rescue legislation matches the four principles that Obama laid out, but in reality it doesn’t meet two of the four principles that Obama outlined on Sept. 19, which were that it include an emergency economic stimulus package, and that it be part of “part of a globally coordinated effort with our partners in the G-20.”
14. REAGAN TAX RATES: Biden is wrong in saying that under Obama, Americans won't pay any more in taxes then they did under Reagan.
