NRA Endorses Democrats Johnson and Herseth Sandlin

One more time, Barack Obama isn't coming for your guns.

But even if he were, he'd have to answer to two of his biggest South Dakota backers, Tim Johnson and Stephanie Herseth Sandlin. The National Rifle Association has given Senator Johnson and Congresswoman Herseth Sandlin its highest rating... and its endorsement. We have two rock-solid conservative Republican challengers, and the NRA picks Dems. Go figure.

  1. Dykstra also has an A rating from the NRA. It is NRA policy to endorse the incumbent if that incumbent has a favorable NRA rating. Does not mean that they don't equally endorse Dykstra, just not officially so.

I still wouldn't trust Obama with the gun issue. He has consistently been on the wrong side of any gun issues, despite what he is touting now to get elected. I can list these item by item if anyone is interested.

  2. Source from a flyer from Hillary Clinton, I think it covers every thing where obomo stands on guns:

    Hillary was right:
    You can’t trust Obama
    with your guns.
Although he is now trying to run from his anti-gun past, Barack Obama would be the most anti-gun president
in American history. Here are four of the many facts in his record of opposing gun owners:
Obama voted to allow the prosecution of law-abiding citizens
who use a firearm for self-defense in the home.1
Just this year, Obama supported Washington, D.C., laws banning handguns
    and making self-defense illegal—in your own home.2
Obama supported a 500% increase in federal taxes on guns and ammunition.3
Obama voted to ban hundreds of rifles and shotguns commonly used for
    hunting, including single-shot, over-under and side-by-side shotguns.4

  3. When Obama says he isn't coming for your guns, he means he's not personally coming for your guns. So he's not lying, exactly.
