So I wake up before dawn this morning (actually, I am woken up by a squirmy young person who shall remain nameless). I see a shooting star from the Quadrantid meteor shower, then decide to treat myself to some TV news coverage of the stars who fell in last night's Iowa caucuses. I pad downstairs and click on the TV. Some early commercials, and then --
"This morning's big story --"
Yahoo! I get my keyboard ready for some media blogging.
"--Britney Spears was taken by ambulance...."
Click.
I learn more from Todd and Pat than I can from the inanity burbling out of the TV. Maybe Mrs. Madville Times won't bother with those coupons to update our television to digital.
