Munsterman to Motivate Mutual Municipal Money-Making with Madison

Mayor Scott Munsterman of Brookings is on the Madison City Commission agenda (PDF alert!) for tonight's meeting. Brookings's most powerful chiropractor is coming to chat with his Lake County neighbors about participating in the I-29 economic corridor. It will be interesting to compare the response Mayor Munsterman gets tonight with the response Senator Karl Mundt got 50 years ago, when town leaders rejected his offer to bring I-29 itself right to our doorstep. Madison appears more willing now to embrace the idea of local economy as a region, not just a town.
