It's not dinner and a movie, but how about potluck and a pitch? The Lake County Dems are hosting a little get-together for local Dems and other interested voters to watch, cheer, and discuss gubernatorial candidate Scott Heidepriem's big half-hour TV broadcast tomorrow night. The party is bringing hot dogs, burgers, and lemonade; we'd like other guests to bring a salad or dessert to share.
If you're interested in political marketing and conversation, come to the Parsley Barn at 103 N. Liberty here in Madison Thursday, suppertime October 6. Chow starts around 6 p.m.; show starts at 6:30.
And yes, the Nebraska–Kansas game will still be on afterward.
