The Madville Times loves getting the scoop. We are just as thrilled to see our eager readers providing the scoop. Attentive readers will have caught this Anonymous comment yesterday on Sioux Valley Wireless discontinuing its television service. Sure enough, headliner on tonight's MDL confirms that Sioux Valley is choosing not to spend its money on the expensive changeover to digital TV. The Madville Times does indeed have some of the newsiest newshounds among its readers. Good work, Anonymous!
Of course, this user of Sioux Valley's wireless Internet service was terrified that a discontinuation of that service might be coming too. We'd have to move to town to continue speaking truth to power! But why get their awesome, more expensive, internet services if they can't combine it with phone & cable to make it cheaper? You may as well switch to a satellite company and get your tv & internet through them:-)
ReplyDeleteWe don't have cable, so for us, it's just phone and Internet. Satellite packages still aren't cost-effective for us, and no one else will run an Internet line or beam a signal out our way.
