Discover the Unexpected -- Ice-Fishing?

A little more Madison marketing watch: I log on to the MadisonSD.com city marketing site to look up some local businesses. Behind the iSpeakVideo spokesmodel from Florida, I see our city slogan, "Discover the Unexpected" next to a picture of a man and his ice shack.

A guy freezing his butt ice-fishing in South Dakota -- um, can someone tell me what's unexpected about that?

Or how about a guy biking across Lake Herman:

A guy freezing his butt on a lake on a bicycle -- now that's Unexpected™!
