We're not quite seizing the towers and transmitting our call for revolution until the tanks arrive, but the South Dakota blogosphere will get some airtime Monday, March 31, at noon on South Dakota Public Broadcasting's Dakota Midday. In addition to the regular report from Hoghouse Blog doyenne and SDPB "Political Junkie" Denise Ross, Dakota Midday lead off with a conversation with Seth Tupper, the Mitchell Daily Republic reporter who also produces the Republic Insider blog. And in the star-studded middle segment, Dakota Midday will feature the Madville Times and maybe, just maybe, one more twinkly beacon of interpid online opinion. You've read our text -- now come make fun of our radio voices!
Update: Beacon unveiled: Dr. Jon Schaff of South Dakota Politics announces he'll be joining me on the second segment of Dakota Midday on Monday. Yahoo! This will be my first voice-to-voice meeting with the esteemed professor. I look forward to the conversation... maybe we'll even get to discuss the wisdom of rousing the international left to the cause of Tibet! ;-)

Congratulations Cory. You've made the big time.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Todd. 20 minutes on South Dakota Public Radio -- maybe not "big", but surely fun! Let's hope for lots of tough questions from listeners!
ReplyDeletePlease give me the right radio station numbers! It's time, etc. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteOpps - Its not it's - sorry.
ReplyDeleteHey, Cory, don't forget all us "little people" when you hit the big time!
ReplyDeleteSorry I left that out, Anon! If you're listening here in the Madison area, SDPB broadcasts on FM 88.3. If you're elsewhere in the state, you can find your local frequency (or just listen online!) at www.sdpb.org. Dakota Midday is on over the noon hour Central time (11-12 Mountain). Tune in Monday, and call in with your questions (1-800-456-0766)!
ReplyDeleteYou mean like... "Hey Cory, when are you going to drop your imitation of Cat Stevens and shave" kind of questions! ;) LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for anything, Matt -- bring it on! ;-)
